Rovers scored a late leveller against a strong Harlow Town team to earn a morale-boosting point.
Charlie Barlow equalised four minutes from time to secure a draw against the 10 men from North Essex, after it looked as though we would once again be left with nothing for our efforts.
Harlow raced into a two-goal lead with two quick fire efforts. The first goal came from Layne Eadie after 20 minutes, and Fabion Simms added a second two minutes later with an impressive overhead kick.
Things were looking bleak at this point but on the half hour mark Bradley Vaughan stole a march on his defender at the near post to side foot a volley home to reduce the deficit.
Craig Pope was sent off for a stamp early in the second half but Rovers were still struggling to break down a resilient defence.
And it was Barlow that came to the rescue again. Weeks after netting a late goal at Pheonix Sports to secure a 3-3 draw, he was at it again, burying a strike down the middle of the goal after a goalmouth scramble.
Jay Nash could have won it at the death, but his shot rattled the crossbar from yards out.
