Coach Lee Bunn became part of the new management team at Great Wakering Rovers in October 2023 alongside manager Marcus Bowers.

His playing days saw him starting out at Romford as a reserve team stalwart for years, scoring within two minutes of coming on as substitute on his first team debut in 1996 for what was actually a promoted reserve team. He finally got his chance with the first team in January 2001, and was rewarded for his loyalty with the captaincy, but eventually stood down partly owing to work commitments and partly owing to fitness deficiency.

Lee's coaching days started with managing Essex Olympian league side Rayleigh Town from 2015 to 2017, when he took over at Hannakins Farm before a spell in charge of Frenford's reserve team. He returned to Rayleigh Town to manage the reserves in 2019 and became first team assistant manager at Basildon Town in 2021.

At Basildon Town, he was part of the coaching staff that led them to runners-up of the Essex Olympian League Premier Division and to their highest level of football to the Thurlow Nunn League/step 6, and just missed out on promotion to the Essex Senior League last season by a solitary point in the 2022/23 season.
