As Rovers prepare to play Grays Athletic today, we take a quick glimpse at Rovers record against Grays in "Statistically Speaking".

Here at Rovers we have comprehensive records dating back to 1992 and we've managed to compile results, Rovers lineups, scorers etc thanks to Nobby Johnson, Jim Laird and the hard work of our own resident statto's Dan Trenkel and Rob Lilley.

So let's take a look at our record against Grays.

Well it doesn't make happy reading for Rovers supporters, with Rovers only victory in 9 matches coming in 6th April 2011 with a 2-1 away victory, Toran Senghore grabbing both goals for Rovers in front of a 171 strong crowd.

However Grays take the plaudits with 7 wins and a draw against Rovers, scoring 23 goals and conceding just 13. But let's break this down a little further to the actual fixture in question, with Rovers being at home.

Grays have visited Burroughs Park just 3 times since 1992, only one of these being a league fixture, the other two being FA Cup matches.
Unfortunately for Rovers they remain winless at home to Grays, scoring 3, conceding 7.

Grays do hold a record at Burroughs Park however, that being the highest FA Cup attendance, 262, with their 2-1 win in the 13th September 1997 in the FA Cup 1st round qualifier, C Attwood getting Rovers only goal on that day.
