Rovers v Southend United

The Rovers will welcome Phil Brown's Southend United side for both sides first pre-season friendly.

Rovers will field squad members from last season as well as new signings from the summer, including midfielder Jay Smith, forward Gary Paterson and keeper Adam Seal, all from neighbours Southend Manor.

With this the first time that the match has been played on a Saturday, Rovers are looking to beat their attendance record which currently stands at 1150. Kick off is at 1pm and the weather appears to be sunny, around 26 degrees, so there is a great chance of the attendance record.

Tickets cost £5 per person, under 10's free.
