As Chairman and on behalf of the Committee at Great Wakering Rovers FC, we are pleased to announce the appointment of Gary Ansell (Manager) and Rob Polkinghorn (Assistant Manager) to the First Team.

We are looking to both Gary and Rob to bring playing stability to the team whilst appreciating that things will need to change on and off the pitch as well as the method of coaching to enable Rovers to move forward, whilst keeping one hand on the batten that is the Clubs Youth Policy of progression via the U21's (Managed by Steve Southgate) and U18's (Managed by Tom Harding).

We wish Gary and Rob all the very best in this new challenge for the Club as well as themselves and offer a very big Wakering congratulations to them both.

I personally would hope with all the Committee, that players or Supporters of the club provide them with as much support as possible whilst welcoming them to the helm of the football club.
