Rovers 2-0 win is marred by injury to Sawbridgeworth keeper Jamie Rind.

Rovers defeated a spirited Sawbridgeworth by two goals to nil, with both goals coming in the second half. After a dismal first half, Rovers grabbed goals by Danny Heale and a penalty from Jimmy Webb after two minutes into the additional 8 minutes added on, due to an injury to Sawbo keeper Jamie Rind.

Rind came for a cross and clattered into the attacking Ty Benjamin and his own defender to land awkwardly and dislocate his shoulder, with Benjamin also requiring treatment. As the keeper was seen by ambulance staff in the Rovers boardroom, his replacement, forward Lewis Cooper was forced to front a Jimmy Webb penalty but was unable to stop the spot kick.

The win takes Rovers to within 3 points of leaders Burnham Ramblers and keeps the pressure on the leaders as they were forced to postpone their game today.

ROVERS WOULD LIKE TO EXTEND THEIR BEST WISHIES TO JAMIE RIND AND HOPE FOR A SPEEDY RECOVERY.
