Rovers left back Adam Holmes out injured for the foreseeable future

Manager Dan Trenkel confirms left back Adam Holmes is out for a lengthy period.

Trenkel stated "Yes it’s a choker to be quite honest. I’m gutted for him. He has had his MRI results back and he has a Medial Ligament Rupture which has been ruptured for about 4 years from a previous injury and never fully healed. Add to this a ruptured cruciate ligament and he's out for quite a while.
He will be in to have an operation by March 2013, hopefully a bit sooner, then he is looking at 6 months rehabilition, which puts him on course for August/September 2013.
It’s a serious injury but one I know he will recover from and play again. If anyone in our club is going to get through a long term injury it is Holmesy as I don’t think I’ve ever met anyone who knows what he needs to do to get through it."
