First team squad announced by new manager Keith Wilson.....

I've managed to persuade Steve Butterworth out of early retirement and he'll add a lot of experience and guile up front
- Keith Wilson - First Team Manager

New first team manager has had a busy week, both on and off the pitch. Working alongside new Director of Football at Rovers, Dave Patience, Keith has spent time on the phone and also in the dugout as Rovers hosted a friendly against Essex Senior League high flyers Hullbridge Sports.

With new signings, trialists and remaining first team players, Rovers ran out 3-1 winners in a well contested match, with Hullbridge more than playing their part in an entertaining evening of football.

'Willow' is happy to announce his full squad below:

Existing First Team Players -

Charlie Huntley
Nick Hilder
Manny Sackey
Josh Banton
Bradley Nobbs
Kye Jude
Kyle Asante
Harley Kee
Harry Daly
Malaki Touissant
Aaron Clark
Oliver Quick
George Here

New Signings -
Ashley Harrison - Ash isn't a new signing, but will play and who's knowledge will assist the young players at the club
Jason Ring - right back from East Thurrock. Played for me previously at Burnham Ramblers.
Sonny Shilling - former Scunthorpe United player, been playing few games for Barkingside. Can play wide either side or up front
Ross Elsom - midfielder who was at West Ham united as kid. Been at Bishops Stortford this season
Billy Harris - released from Soham Town. Another midfielder who can play wide as well
Abiola Tanimowo - Powerful young striker who should offer some firepower to the Rovers front line.
Steve Butterworth - former GWR favourite. Persuaded out of early retirement as a good friend of mine. Lacking fitness but will add experience & class
Eamon Payne - Centre back formerly with Chelmsford City, Witham Town and more recently Southend Manor.
Jack Adlington - was with club earlier in the season & has now returned after short spell at Brentwood Town
Jimmy Nottage - Left back and former Dagenham & Redbridge & East Thurrock player who I have persuaded to rejoin. Had a few games with Barkingside recently in order to maintain his match fitness.

Further signings or player news will be announced on the Rovers website.....
