Injury not as bad as first feared for defender Hepburn

News has come in that defender Stuart Hepburn has not suffered a broken foot

Rovers supporters can breath a small sigh of relief in the knowledge that scans have proven that Stuart Hepburn has not broken any bone in his foot but it is badly bruised. The injury occurred as Hepburn was clearing the ball and made impact into the studs of an attacker.

Manager Dan Trenkel will also be pleased to hear the good news although we are still waiting to hear confirmation on midfielder Joe Skeels who injured his ankle in the same match.

Trenkel is already aware of Ashley Hawkins being out until the New Year following a knee injury during training.
