New Season 2013/14 (& 2014/2015?)

An exceptional mornings weather on Saturday 29th June for the Clubs last Alliance trails which also provided the Management an opportunity to view more quality talent wanting to be part of Great Wakering Rovers future progressive pathway..

The level of talent on show highlights the progress the club have made in its first 2 seasons back in the Alliance leagues and the willingness of all teams to allow the boys to progress upwards through the club into higher age groups and the ability to win places in the 2nd team as well as the 1st team.

Last season we had U16's progress into the U18's as well as the 2nd team, practically all the U18's played for the 2nds and a big congratulations go out to Tom Roberts/ Daniel Hall (U18's) who achieved 1st team appearances.

Dan Hall a local village boy from the Colts section will be named 2nd team Captain at the age of 18.

This shows why the players at the trials raised some happy eyebrows from the Managers.

Finally, the club will start its search for an U15 team for season 2014/2015 - so if your aware of a quality U14 team for next season who would be interested in seeking player progression at a Happy club then please contact Tony Butcher (Vice Chairman - info@seaviewcl.co.uk)
