Stalwart keeper leaves the club

Rovers keeper Louis Godwin-Green has left the club by mutual consent after 270 games for the club spanning 7 years.

Louis, with 269 starts and 1 sub appearance made his debut for the club on the 2nd September 2006 and the latter part of his Rovers career enjoyed a number of seasons in the number 1 shirt.
However, some inconsistent performances last season saw manager Dan Trenkel bring in Adam Seal from Southend Manor during the close season and the former Manor keeper has impressed between the sticks.

Louis is 9th in Rovers all time appearance chart, just one appearance ahead of former boss Ryan Wilkinson.

There has been interest in the Rovers keeper but as yet nothing has been confirmed as to where he will ply his trade next.
