A look at the history of results between the clubs

There have been 25 previous meetings between the clubs. From these, Rovers have won 18, Ramblers 4, with 3 draws.

The earliest game we have on record is on the 3rd October 1992 when Burnham Ramblers game to Burroughs Park and grabbed a cracking 4-4 draw. In the same season Rovers would nick a goal late on to defeat Ramblers away 2-1. The goals that day coming from Neil Ramsay and Paul Flack.

Rovers would then go on to record 9 straight wins against Ramblers, between 1993 and 1997 and it wouldn't be until 4th November 1997 that Ramblers would grab an overdue victory, a 3-1 away win in the Eastern Floodlit League.

However, Rovers now find themselves on another run of victories against Ramblers, currently 6, including an FA Cup 1st Round Qualifer at Burroughs Park in front of a crowd of 164, which saw Iain O'Connell's side narrowly scrape through, a 2-1 win with goals from Michael Begg and Neil Richmond.

In total Rovers have grabbed 53 goals compared to Ramblers 26.

Lets look a little closer to today's match though, Rovers being at home. There have been 14 games at Burroughs Park, with Rovers winning 9, Ramblers winning 3, with two draws. Rovers have grabbed 31 goals, Ramblers 19.

Rovers are unbeaten by Ramblers at Burroughs Park in 4 games, with Ramblers scoring just two goals from these visits.

Rovers biggest victory - 23rd April 2001, a 4-0 win in the Thameside Trophy Quarter Final first leg.
Ramblers biggest victory - 16th March 1999, a 3-1 extra time win in the East Anglian Cup 2nd Round.

The thorn in Ramblers side has been Paul Flack with 9 goals in 13 appearances. Current Rovers manager Dan Trenkel has 3 goals to his name, scoring in three consecutive games from 2001 to 2002.
