As Rovers prepare to play Brentwood Town on Saturday, we take a quick glimpse at Rovers record against Enfield Town in "Factual Findings".

Here at Rovers we have comprehensive records dating back to 1992 and we've managed to compile results,
Rovers lineups, scorers etc thanks to Nobby Johnson, Jim Laird and the hard work of our own resident statto's Dan Trenkel and Rob Lilley.

Factual Findings today looks back at results between the Rovers and Brentwood Town. For this purpose, we'll look at results since their name change back in 2004, which saw them change from Brentwood to Brentwood Town shortly after moving into their current home next to Brentwood Leisure Centre.

So, as usual, we'll look at the totals. The clubs have met 12 times, with Rovers winning 4, Town winning 6 and two draws. Rovers have scored just 14 goals, compared to Town's 28. The first game since their name change took place was an FA Cup 1st Qualifying Round at Brentwood on 10th September 2005, Town winning 3-1, with Rovers goal coming from Neil Richmond.

Now lets take a closer look at games between the sides at Burroughs Park. Well there have only been 4 games, Rovers winning 1, Town 2 and one draw. Rovers have scored 8 and Town have scored 13.
Games were always close, with just one goal in it, but Town's last visit to Burroughs Park on the 12th March 2011 saw them run out 7-2 winners as Rovers were blown away on a chilly Saturday afternoon. Rovers team that days consisted of 4 players who are still with the club today, Louis Godwin-Green, Lewis Sparrow, Jack Carlile and Luca Frankis.

Rovers are just 35 matches away from their 1000th match since Nobby Johnson began recording our results.

Of these 965 matches, Rovers have won 415, with our opponents winning 362, and 188 draws. Rovers have scored 3262 goals, conceding 2906.
