As Rovers prepare to play AFC Sudbury on Saturday afternoon, we take a quick glimpse at Rovers record against AFC Sudbury in "Factual Findings".

Here at Rovers we have comprehensive records dating back to 1992 and we've managed to compile results, Rovers lineups, scorers etc thanks to Nobby Johnson, Jim Laird and the hard work of our own resident statto's Dan Trenkel and Rob Lilley.

So let's take a look at our record against AFC Sudbury.

Rovers have faced AFC Sudbury on 11 occasions, the first on the 9th February 2002 in an FA Vase 5th Round match, where Rovers lost 2-1 after extra time on their travels. Rovers solitary goal that day came from D.Howard but one notable name on the Rovers teamsheet that day was current manager Dan Trenkel.

Lets take a quick look at some totals against our hosts. Out of those 11 matches between the sides, Rovers have been victorious just once, with AFC Sudbury winning 8 and two draws. Most notably, Rovers have not beaten AFC Sudbury since 24th April 2007, that is an 8 game unbeaten streak for Sudbury.
Rovers have grabbed 11 goals but have conceded 32.

Lets take a look at the actual fixture in question, with Rovers playing away. Well, it doesn't make good reading at all. There have been 6 games and Rovers are yet to win the fixture on their travels. We did manage to grab a 1-1 draw on the 12th January 2008. However Rovers have only managed 6 goals with Sudbury scoring 21.
