Carl Read confirmed as having a broken arm

New has just come in that left back Carl Read, making his first start for the Rovers, who was taken off with a suspected broken arm, had it confirmed last night at hospital.

The defender was kept in and such is the severity of the break, he will have an operation this morning to insert pins and a metal plate.

All at Rovers wish Carl the very best for the operation and his ongoing recouperation.
