As we look to face Brentwood away in the FA Cup, Media Manager Rob Lilley takes a quick look at previous results against Brentwood.

Tomorrow we re-join the FA Cup competition, with Brentwood Town next on the agenda.

Rovers have played Brentwood Town 13 times, the first time on the 10th September 2005. In total, Rovers have won 4 times, Brentwood Town 7 times and 2 draws. Rovers have scored 14 goals to Town's 30.

Historically, Rovers haven't done so well against tomorrows opponents. But let's take a look at the actual fixture, with Brentwood being at home.
There have been 8 games, Rovers winning 3, Town winning 4 with 1 draw. Rovers have scored 6 goals, Town 15.

So Rovers seem to have performed better against Brentwood Town whilst on our travels yet the last time Rovers were successful at Town was on the 14th December 2010, with a 2-0 win in the Essex Senior Cup, Rovers boss Dan Trenkel scoring a penalty on the day with Joe Gardner grabbing our second.

But the last time we played away at Town, on the 19th November 2011, we succumbed to a 5-0 defeat, in what was manager Danny Greaves' final game for the club following 6 disastrous games. Town also ended the reign of Ryan Wilkinson as Rovers manager with a 7-2 thumping at Burroughs Park on the 12th March 2011, which also accounts for Town's biggest victory over Rovers.

Dan Trenkel has faced Brentwood Town as manager once previously, on the 28th February 2012, in an Isthmian League North match which Town won 2-0, but has scored two goals against Town himself during his career.
