Central defender re-joins the club after 5 year absence.....

Keith Wilson's signing of defender Nikki Beale brings the player home following a 5 year absence from the club. Beale, who was instrumental in Rovers shut out of VCD Athletic on Tuesday evening, last played for the club on the 8th October 2011, an FA Trophy first round qualification match away at AFC Sudbury.

He made his debut for Rovers on the 16th October 2004, with then manager Tony Cross electing to start with the left footer in a team which included Danny Scopes, James Marrable and on the bench, Nana Badu.

Beale re-joins after playing 240 times (238 starts and 2 sub appearances). He's not afraid to go for goal either, scoring 15 goals including a brace in Rovers 2-1 win over Arlesey Town in the Southern League in 2005. His last goal came in 2-1 win at home to Thamesmead Town in the Ryman North, opening the scoring for Nathan Dewberry to score the winner.
