Two goals in the last four minutes gave Rovers a valuable three points against a resilient Thamesmead.
Both keepers kept their respective teams in the game during a dour first half and at the break it predictably finished 0-0.
Thamesmead started the second and were rewarded when Adrian Stone followed up on a shot rebounding off the post on 49' nudging the ball home.

Rovers struggled to get possession however were awarded a penalty soon after but Eljay Worrells effort was saved well by keeper Andy Walker.
Rovers were again awarded a penalty on 86' which was this time converted by Leon Gordon despite a strong hand from Walker.

Walkers afternoon got worse during the play which lead to Rovers winner when a through ball left three players challenging for it. The rebound fell kindly to Charlie Barlow who kept calm and finished well however Walker dislocated his knee and had to be stretchered off on 90'.

Rovers stayed strong and eventually saw the game out.
