Rovers earned a much-needed win as they came back from a half time deficit to take all three points at Brentwood Town.
Rovers were looking for a win after a difficult start to the season while Brentwood had shown a vast improvement in recent times.
Brentwood were looking the better of the two in the early exchanges, with goalkeeper Matt Belcher showing terrific reflexes to make some fine saves. But there was nothing he could do about the opener, seven minutes before the break, with Charlie Georgiou finishing with aplomb into the net.
A goal down at the break, Rovers needed a response and got one five minutes later. Josh Banton got his first for the club within an emphatic finish and the game was turned on its head before long. Seven minutes after the equaliser, Leon Gordon powered home to score what proved to the decisive goal and lift Rovers to seven points.
