In total, Rovers have won 4, Witham 2, with Rovers scoring 12, conceding 7.

Not wanting to put the mockers on the result, but you have to go back to 30/12/2006 for the last time that Witham gained victory over Rovers. Iain O'Connell succumbed to defeat at home and away in the 06/07 season, both 2-0 scorelines, yet gained revenge, securing 4 wins on the trot for the 07/08 and 08/09 seasons.
Rovers biggest win was on the 9th February 2008 at Burroughs Park. Goals that day came from James Foy (3), Martin Tuohy and Elliot Gresham.
Rovers good opening day win against Soham was just the tonic to bury the ghosts of last season's poor start, but Witham may prove to be a different opponent completely. A 2-1 away defeat to Redbridge in their opening game, of which they had fielded 12 new players, could go either way for Rovers. However, manager Dan Trenkel will be hoping that Witham's new squad will take a few games more to gel as he targets another win.
There are still doubts over the availability of Nick Skelton (ankle) and George Artemi (back), but Tony Jacobs (hamstring) will still be out for a short while. As far as we are aware there were not injuries to players from last Saturday's 2-0 win over Soham, so manager Dan Trenkel may have the majority of his squad available for selection.
