The annual general meeting took place for the Essex Senior League last night at Harlow Town's Harlow Arena Here are the key points from the meeting:-

The Essex Senior League and Reserve League Divisions have finally got their constitutions sorted and complete at last night's AGM ahead of the July 29th launch date.

Essex Senior League Constitution (20 clubs) 2017-18:

It was revealed last night that the League had expelled Ilford FC from the ESL however the Cricklefield side did confirm they will appeal this decision.

Meanwhile, London Bari have been taken over by Hackney Wick with Haringey & Waltham changing their name to Woodford Town 2017. This was agreed at the meeting and will appear in the league constitution.

Also the Reserves Division constitution was decided and here it is below:

The draws for the Essex Senior League Cup, Gordon Brasted Memorial Trophy and the Essex Senior League Reserve Shield will take place live on the Grassroots Football Show on East London Radio on Thursday 27th July.

It was also decided that The Essex Senior League Challenge Cup will be renamed "The Errington Cup" in tribute to Rob & Margaret Errington, which is a great gesture from the league.

Furthermore, Adam Richardson who is currently Tower Hamlets First Team Secretary was elected to be on the Essex Senior League's League Development Committee with former Registration Secretary Peter Butcher, Barkingside FC chairman Jimmy Flanagan and former Wadham Lodge chairman Martyn Fitch.

And to conclude, Stansted FC received the Sportsmanship Award at the AGM.
