Plans for the Rovers’ 2024/25 pre-season schedule are well underway, with friendlies confirmed so far as Marcus Bowers prepares for the new Essex Senior League campaign.

Rovers will begin their pre-season with an opening fixture away against Essex Olympian Premier side Springfield on Wednesday 3rd July.

This will be quickly followed up by a trip to newly promoted Isthmian Premier division side Bowers & Pitsea on Saturday 6th July.

Rovers will then be playing Essex Olympian Premier side Rayleigh Town away on Tuesday 9th July and this will be followed up on with a home game as Burroughs Park will play as host to National League side Southend United on Saturday 13th July.

Rovers will then travel away to local Thurlow Nunn side Basildon Town on Tuesday 16th July and then away to Essex Olympian league side Old Southendians on Saturday 20th July.

Rovers will then finalise their preparations by hosting last season’s Isthmian North playoff finalists Brentwood Town on 23rd July.
