PREVIEW
Rovers have been superb at the start of this season, winning three of the four games played, and drawing the other. Manager Dan Trenkel made few changes to his squad over the summer with the same group of players thriving at the start of this season, compared the start of the last where we won only once in the opening 11 games.
Rovers have played Wroxham a total of 5 times, three times in the FA Cup, twice in the league. Sadly, Rovers have failed to record a victory, with Wroxham grabbing 3 wins and two draws. Rovers have scored 3 goals, Wroxham 10. At Burroughs Park, there have been two games, Rovers failing to score in a 0-1 and 0-4 scoreline. Rovers did however grab a 1-1 draw at Wroxham in the return league match last season, Billy Johnson getting on the scorsheet that day.
MANAGER
Dan Trenkel stated "Wroxham will be a very tough game for us. They have beaten Thurrock and drawn against Harlow Town, so that shows you the calibre of the team we are up against. They have lost Christy Finch (to Leiston) and he was one of the leagues top scorers last year, but they have Nathan Stone, who has consistently been one of the best front men in the Ryman Leagues for a number of years now. They will expect to come to Burroughs Park and win so we have to make sure that we are at our best.
