We look back at the young midfielder.....

Young Tom Ranger, a player who gave ex-Manager Dan Trenkel a torrid time in the midfield during Hullbridge Sports 1-0 away win at Burroughs Park in the FA Vase. The air of arrogance when he pulled his hand away from a handshake with Trenkel at the final whistle. It was clear to see that he had the confidence and ability to go further in the game.

Dan Trenkel signed the midfielder from Hullbridge Sports a few weeks into the 2014-15 season, clearly impressed by the impression left by the youngster the previous season.

It wouldn't take any time before Ranger would start to pay Trenkel back for the faith shown in him, scoring on his debut in a 1-0 home win against Waltham Abbey.

Ranger would go on to provide ammunition from an attacking midfield role that would eventually net him 24 goals from just 57 appearances (4 as sub) for Rovers. This season, alongside Adam Seal, Tom has been an everpresent in Rovers lineups.
Tom also grabbed a hattrick as Rovers thumped Burnham Ramblers 6-1 away in the Ryman North last season.

With 11 goals in all competitions this season, 10 in the Ryman League, it is clear that there will be a gap to fill.

Concord will hope the attacker can add bite to their Conference South campaign.

All at Rovers wish Tom the very best of luck and success.
