Rovers have been advised of the passing of ex-youth team manager Martin Wells recently. Wells, previously one of the youth team managers at the club, also managed at Hawkwell Athletic youth, and played for Trinity and Fairfax teams.

Those who knew Martin have been invited to his funeral by the family, at Southend Crematorium on the 22nd March, 2:40pm at the West Chapel.

Following the funeral, all have been invited to return to the White Hart, Great Wakering to raise a glass or two in remembrance.
