The game had been originally scheduled to be played at Roots Hall but due to the inclement conditions of recent weeks the pitch at Southend was deemed too much of a risk to be played on at that early stage, as such GWRFC were asked if Burroughs Park would be available and knowing how good our pitch has been cared for during the pre-season it is an honour for us to help our Professional neighbours.

The game will see Phil Brown’s side take on a West Ham United XI, predominately made up of the East-London side’s development squad.

Any tickets already bought for the game can be refunded for the new venue by midday on Tuesday 19th July - PLEASE NOTE NEW TICKETS FOR THE NEW VENUE WILL BE ISSUED AFTER THIS DATE, NO ORIGINAL TICKETS CAN BE USED FOR ENTRY.

Adults - £12 (£10 for Season Card Holders if bought before midday on Friday 22nd July)

Concessions - £6 (£5 for Season Card Holders if bought before midday on Friday 22nd July)

16 years & under - £1

Please note that all tickets will be unreserved & unsegregated standing on a first come first served basis with a capacity of around 1,750 so dependent on ticket sales it will be an ALL TICKET match.
