Today has seen our FA Cup and FA Vase campaigns being released with a trip away at Newmarket Town and a home match against Sporting Bengal United.

In the FA Cup, we will be travelling to Newmarket Town. They currently play in the Eastern Counties Premier League and last season saw them finish in 3rd place out of 21.

They had applied for promotion last season but were 15 points short.

Our last meeting with the Suffolk side was back on 2nd September 2006 during the management of Iain O'Connell when we won 4-1 at Burroughs Park in the Preliminary Round of the FA Cup with a double by Steve Butterworth alongside goals from Michael Begg and Neil Richmond.

Our current record against Newmarket is currently P2 W2, F7 A1.

The winners of this tie will win £1500 whilst they will host Bostik League North side Ware FC in the FA Cup Preliminary Round. The winners of that tie will win £1925.

That game will be played on the weekend of 5th August with the Preliminary Round game taking place on the weekend of 19th August.

Whilst in the FA Vase, we will host fellow Essex Senior League side Sporting Bengal United in the 1st Qualifying Round.

Bengal finished in 19th place last season's ESL with the Mile End side looking to improve on their good form that they showed towards the end of last season.

Our last game with Bengal was back 5th May 2014 when we beat them 1-0 infront of a crowd of 267 in the Esssex Senior League Challenge Cup. Jay Nash was the scorer for Rovers whilst Billy Johnson is the only member of the current squad to have played in that game now.

Our current record against Sporting Bengal is currently P6 W5 D1, F29 A12.

The winners will win £550 (with the losers recieving £175) whilst they will travel to Mayesbrook Park which is the home of fellow Essex Senior League side West Essex in the 2nd qualifying round. The winners of that tie will win £725 with the losers recieving £250.

The game will be played on the weekend of the 9th September with the 2nd qualifying round game taking place on the weekend of the 23rd September.

We will release more news about the fixtures and the admission prices as it is released.
